  • Trouble loading film? Adapts the proven M6 "Rapid Load" design (tulip system) for your classic Leica.
  • Remove spool? Thanks to the design, the spool no longer needs to be taken out of the camera to load film.
  • M3 special feature? The M3 version has an integrated gravity pin that makes resetting the frame counter easier when changing film.

Description

This spool greatly modernises the handling of your Leica M1, M2, M3 & Leica or IIIg. It replaces the original 14260 winding spool and brings the convenience of the Leica M6 & Leica into your camera body. Thanks to the "petal" design, the film grips securely and quickly without you having to remove the spool from the camera.

Special attention was paid to details especially for the Leica M3 & Leica MP & Leica : An integrated pin extends when the camera is turned upside down. This allows the spool to be lifted easily to trigger the automatic frame counter reset of the M3 without sacrificing comfort.

Here is the LTM (Barnack) version of the spool (Leica I-IIIf).
