Features in detail

Take-up spool — Easy loading

The included winding spool makes loading much easier: wind your cut film onto the small spool and then simply slide the spool into the empty space of the cassette. No more fiddling with loose film ends — the spool securely guides the film into position.

ISO break edge — Exposure control

110 cameras control exposure via the standardized ISO notch on the cassette. In the default state, the camera detects normal film (approx. ISO 200). If you break off the notch at the designated break point, the camera switches to fast film (approx. ISO 400). This way, you adjust the exposure to the actual sensitivity of your loaded film.

Film transport stop edge — Extended compatibility

Some 110 cameras have a film advance sprocket (gear) on the bottom that engages a notch in the cartridge. If this edge is present, it can block the advance on some models. By breaking off the lower break-off edge (pre-scored break point), the sprocket engagement is disabled and the cartridge works with these cameras as well.

Compatibility & Important Test

This cartridge fits mechanically in all 110 cameras. Warning: If you use unperforated film (e.g. slitter-metered film), your camera must be able to cock the shutter without perforation. Perform this simple test:

1. Remove the cartridge and leave the back open.
2. Advance the film.
3. Press the shutter release.

Does the shutter trigger? Your camera works with unperforated film (e.g. Pentax Auto 110, Rollei A110, Canon 110ED).
Does it not trigger? Your camera requires perforated film.
