Description

The old Spotmatics and Fujicas were designed for the steady voltage of 1.35V mercury batteries. Since these cells are no longer available today, this set offers a practical solution. We mechanically adapt modern zinc-air hearing aid batteries (type P312) to the required size.

The included rubber ring centers the smaller cell precisely in the battery compartment and ensures secure contact. Electrically, the zinc-air cells are the ideal replacement: they deliver a stable 1.35V under load and thus guarantee correct operation of the light meter without complicated adjustment.

Note: Zinc-air batteries are activated by peeling off the seal. Wait about one minute before inserting them into the camera.
