Every analog camera has its own story. Many are over 40 years old today and have seen a lot. Weddings, birthday parties, holidays in Italy, snapshots on a walk. All these stories still want to be told today, but too often the story of an analog camera ends up in a drawer.
Usually, it’s a small problem: a battery that no longer exists. A spare part that’s impossible to find. The camera becomes a display piece or a dust collector. But it doesn’t have to be that way!
We believe: these treasures don’t belong on a shelf. Your camera deserves a second life – and our mission is to give it that.
We are Anto & Vladi. Two friends, camera lovers & engineers. Like many startups before us, Ausgeknipst was born out of necessity. We love our cameras and want to preserve them. Our passion for analog photography met technical know-how. From this combination, Ausgeknipst was created. We love diving into old camera technology and developing precise, reliable solutions for problems that disable cameras.
Each of our products is a solution to a problem long ignored by the big manufacturers. Every one of our parts is designed to make a beloved camera fit for everyday use. Our parts bridge the gap from classic camera technology to the here and now – developed and manufactured with modern production methods in Germany and shipped worldwide.
